Man Machine Interface (MMI)

MMI System is developed using the industrial SCADA Wonderware's In touch tool. It is essentially a process monitoring system which automates your manufacturing process and at the same time monitors the plating quality. It is a real time system in that it reads data from the PLC in the background. MMI can access to the PLC through a varieties of channels, such as Ethernet and RS-232. And it supports a broad range of PLCs, including Allen Bradley, Omron, Honeywell, and others.

After data is retrieved and analyzed, MMI shows information pertinent to the machine and the process in graphical form. The view is eye-catching and easily understood. You can check the bath temperatures, chemical consumption, rectifier outputs, flight bar locations, and transporter status, all at a glance. MMI is tightly integrated with the control system so that the plating process can be optimized. The tight integration also provides a way to the MMI system to access almost all side control side equipment in the line, which means that MMI is able to control the side equipment. One of our key objectives is that, MMI will take part in more and more control tasks.

One remarkable feature in MMI is the profile setup function which allows you to fine tune the machine. You may design working patterns for side equipment such as rectifiers, vibrators and sprays so that they can be switched on and off via the program. This provides a way to achieve the highest machine performance while keeping the best plating results.
